1 Introductory Provisions

1.1. These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as "Terms") regulate the relationship between Ján Sudimák, located at Pod Šibeňou horou 45, IČO 17141125, (hereinafter referred to as "Seller") and the customer (hereinafter referred to as "Buyer") in the sale of books through the online store www.jansudimakbook.com.

1.2. A Buyer is any individual who places an order via the online store.

2 Order and Conclusion of the Contract

2.1. Orders can be placed via the shopping cart on our online store.

2.2. After submitting an order, you will receive an email confirming that the order has been received. This email does not constitute confirmation of the contract, but serves only to inform you of the receipt of the order.

2.3. The contract between the Buyer and the Seller is concluded when the Seller sends an email to the Buyer confirming the acceptance and processing of the order.

3 Price and Payment

3.1. The price of the goods is listed on the online store pages and includes VAT.

3.2. The price does not include shipping costs, which are charged separately according to the chosen shipping method.

3.3. The Buyer can pay for the ordered goods using the following methods: Online payment via a payment gateway

4 Delivery and Shipping of Goods

4.1. The goods will be delivered to the address provided by the Buyer in the order.

4.2. Delivery is carried out via Slovenská pošta and is completed within 10 business days from the confirmation of the order.

4.3. Shipping costs are charged according to the current applicable shipping price list.

5 Withdrawal from the Contract

5.1. The Buyer has the right to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 days from the receipt of the goods.

5.2. To withdraw from the contract, it is necessary to complete the withdrawal form and send it to the email eqidiu@gmail.com.

5.3. The goods must be returned undamaged, in the original packaging, and without signs of use.

5.4. The costs of returning the goods are borne by the Buyer.

5.5. Refund Conditions

In the event of withdrawal from the contract pursuant to Article 5.1, the Seller shall return to the Buyer all payments received, including the cost of delivery (excluding additional costs resulting from the Buyer's chosen method of delivery that differs from the least expensive standard delivery method offered), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date the returned goods are received or proof of their return is provided.
The refund will be made using the same payment method the Buyer used, unless otherwise agreed.

6 Complaints and Warranty

6.1. A 24-month warranty is provided on the goods.

6.2. In case the goods are defective, the Buyer may file a complaint according to applicable legal regulations.

6.3. The complaint should be sent to the email address [email address] with a description of the defect and photo documentation, if possible.

7 Protection of Personal Data

7.1. The Seller processes the personal data of the Buyer in accordance with the legal regulations on personal data protection.

7.2. Details regarding the processing of personal data are provided in the Privacy Policy on our website.

8 Final Provisions

8.1. These Terms and Conditions are valid from 10th April 2025 and may be changed or supplemented at any time.

8.2. Any disputes between the Buyer and the Seller are primarily resolved by mutual agreement. If the dispute is not resolved, it may be referred to the competent court.

8.3. Alternative Dispute Resolution

The Buyer – consumer has the right to contact the Seller with a request for remedy if they are not satisfied with how the Seller handled a complaint, or if they believe their consumer rights were violated.
If the Seller responds negatively or fails to respond within 30 days, the consumer has the right to submit a proposal for alternative dispute resolution to a designated ADR entity pursuant to Act No. 391/2015 Coll. on alternative dispute resolution for consumer disputes.
